JULY 2020 – It’s officially 3 years since we created the 24 Hour Travellers YouTube Channel

We bought ourselves a a tiny Toyota Liteace 1.8 Premio Van, named him Vanhalen and DIY converted him into our tiny home on wheels. Since then, we have been through two campervan builds in order to find a way to travel with our dogs Roxy and Bo in comfort. BUT no matter what we did, it was never enough space for ALL of us. (It is however perfect for one person)

Vanhalen has taught us so much about building a camper, engine maintenance, engine overhaul, off grid camping and overland travel. He has given us the confidence that we can live this “on the road lifestyle” we dream of.

We drove him all from Kuala Lumpur the way to Chiang Mai Thailand without any hiccups! We spent the 3 years traveling around Thailand & Malaysia and it is time to say good bye to Vanhalen the DIY Off Grid Camper.

This video is made up of several unseen clips from when we first began our journey. It is a nostalgic walk down memory that will forever remain in our hearts. We love you Vanhalen. Thank you for being the such a reliable machine!

A NEW JOURNEY BEGINS …

Mama Bear is coming into play for Season 5 and she will be our off grid adventure mobile so stay tuned as we begin to travel and explore more of Malaysia (AND a surprise country when borders reopen) !
